1.Product Introducation:
EDTA tubes are coated with EDTA-K2 or EDTA-K3. They are for the examination of whole blood in haematology and can be used in direct sampling analyzers without actually being opened. EDTA bind the calcium ions and therefore blocks the coagulation cascade. Erythrocytes, leukocytes and thrombocytes in an EDTA anticoagulated blood sample are stable for up to 24 hours.
it is widely used in clinical hematology and suitable for various blood cell analyzers. the anticoagulant in such BCS is EDTA salt, and the international committee on blood recoomednsthe use of ethyenediaminetetraacetic acid discdium with higher anticoagualation effciency, greater stability and ph relatively closed to BCS.
